Government has dispatched a team of five lawyers to offer pro-bono legal services to the people of Luweero District. Under the umbrella body Legal World, the team will counter injustice in both civil and criminal cases. The chairperson of UPDF’s parliamentary caucus General Elly Tumwine says the lawyers are volunteers who will offer legal aid for those who cannot afford them.
