how do i make a chocolate lava cake?

Prep Time: 10 minutes about

Cook Time: About 13-15 minutes

Ingredients: Baking spray, 1 stick butter, 2 ounces bittersweet chocolate, 2 ounces semisweet chocolate, 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar, 2 whole eggs, 3 egg yolks, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 1/2 cup all-purpose flour.

Instructions

1) Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F�. 2) Spray (4) custard cups with baking spray and place on a baking sheet. 3) Microwave the butter, bittersweet chocolate and semisweet chocolate in a large bowl on high until the butter is melted, about 1 minute. 4) Whisk until the chocolate is also melted. 5) Stir in the sugar until well blended. Whisk in the eggs and egg yolks, then add the vanilla. 6) Stir in the flour. 7) Pour the mixture evenly among the custard cups. 8) Bake until the sides are firm and the centers are soft (13 minutes). Let stand 1 minute. Invert on individual plates while warm. 9) Enjoy!

So... today I'm showing you how easy it it to make these using a regular muffin / cupcake tin !

These molten chocolate cakes are easy, fun, and simply delicious !

NOTE: This recipe will yield approx 9 chocolate lava cakes.

Grease 6 (6-ounce) custard cups. Melt the chocolates and butter in the microwave, or in a double boiler. Add the flour and sugar to chocolate mixture. Stir in the eggs and yolks until smooth. Stir in the vanilla and orange liqueur. Divide the batter evenly among the custard cups. Place in the oven and bake for 14 minutes. The edges should be firm but the center will be runny. Run a knife around the edges to loosen and invert onto dessert plates.
