To help you overcome this challenge, I want you to follow two useful tips. First, I want you to pack some healthy foods ahead of your trip. Some great on-the-go foods are dried fruits like figs or apricots, and sprouted nuts likes almonds. You could even make a trail mix with some dark chocolate, coconut flakes, raisins, almonds, and dried fruit. Another great on-the-go option is a food bar (Epic food bars), made of grass-fed meat and dried fruit. Veggies in a container for the car, grass-fed beef jerky, or Ezekiel cereal, are also easy, fast options. Secondly planning ahead is the second vital part to eating healthy while traveling. Planning where you’re going to eat, finding healthy grocery stores and organic restaurants in that area you’re in will help you avoid temptations. While traveling, it’s hard to be perfect with eating healthy, so just do your best! |
