We start by checking our wheels, shifters, bars, stem, seat and gears to see if they're broken or bent - while not part of the frame, they're obviously very important to the continued running of your bike.
When checking the frame of a bike for damage we work through methodically from the front of the bike to the back, looking at a few key areas to check for any damage.
