I’m glad you said that. I did intentionally write the book to create a perceptual shift in the reader’s awareness. So much of our focus and everyday attention is consumed by the stimuli of superficial life. We can easily overlook the experience that beneath this surface level, there is a world of meaningful possibilities that can shape our life if we take notice of it. This luminous reality is what begins to emerge into the lives of the characters of the book, and in turn I hope the readers begin to experience a similar shift in perception in their own lives.
