I'm watching Benedict's sherlock right now and I'm on season 3, but I have to say I disagree. I think Robert really captured the essence of sherlock, and I think that Benedict's version is a bit too watered down and predictable for my taste. it's been a few years since I've seen Robert's though, I think I need to re watch it, honestly can't remember the plot too well, I just know Robert's portrayal left a lasting impression on me. don't get me wrong, Benedict's show is good fun, but looking at Robert's impression on screen really felt like you were watching THE sherlock holmes
